How line 2 runs
Line 2 starts at San Zaccaria, next to San Marco, and crosses the basin to San Giorgio and the Giudecca. It calls at Zitelle, Redentore and Giudecca Palanca, crosses back to the Zattere, runs past Sacca Fisola to Tronchetto and reaches Piazzale Roma after 41 minutes. From there it enters the Grand Canal at the railway station and runs to Rialto with only one stop in between, San Marcuola, which it serves in the daytime.
In the daytime the boats carry on beyond Rialto with three more stops, San Tomà, San Samuele and Accademia, and end at San Marco Giardinetti, at the western end of St Mark's Square. Early in the morning and in the evening they turn at Rialto. Boats in the other direction run the same way back to San Zaccaria.

When line 2 reaches San Marco

To reach the Lido now, take line 1 from the Grand Canal or San Zaccaria, line 5.1 or 5.2 from Piazzale Roma and the station, or line 14 from San Zaccaria. The options side by side are on Venice to Lido.
